Lucas' SEGA GITS Collection Figure Vol.2 Gallery

Here is a little Gallery I made for my SEGA Prize GITS Collection Figure Vol.2, a figure set that I really like very very much ^o^/ How do the photos look? I like the pose of the figures, and the Batou for this set is the best I've seen so far. Enjoy~ ^_^ ( p/s: Lucas is currently in the very deep end of Shirow figure collecting... which is quite worrying...! )

Wow very very nice indeed :O
Where can people order this from and whats the 'official' title for these figures? Do them come as a set together (one price) or bought individually?

I hear you about the figures, but for me it's not just the Shirow figures ~_~
Just got a stunning figure of Untyou Kanu from Ikki Tousen!

More photos Lucas, I always love seeing things from your unique perspective *thumbs up*

Nice posing there. Batou does indeed look awesome, and the Motoko in white looks quite seductive. Although her face seems a bit strange. Too thin perhaps?

The Official name of the product would be SEGA Prize Ghost In The Shell Collection Figure Vol.2. Usually it would be sold in a set, but you can find individual pieces depending on the seller. Mine was a set, from a toyshop in Japan :) A casual contact of mine got a set for me, unexpected stroke of good luck as I was prepared to give up on owning this set. Most shops sell out last I searched.

The white Motoko doesn't seem to fit in the set, the other two being in Ninja suits but it was very nicely done. The face looks OK on the actual figure, but maybe the painting of her eyes put the face quite out of proportion, I think.

As much as I love the series, I've always thought it kind of suffered from proportion variance, especially in the first season and now a bit in the figures. Still looks good though, I had forgotten about that episode (why would a sneaky suit be white?).

Episode 3, SAC 2nd Gig "Cash Eye":

Screen 01
Probably why the eyes were a bit off- Motoko wore her visor (which would have been real cool if they bundled it together with the figure ^_^) and speaking of figures, from behind looks good both in the anime and in realistic PVC ^_^

Screen 02
"Opto-cam" feature; useful when jumping from buildings, as always :) Its probably white cos its not a sneaky suit. Motoko meant it to be loud and clear as daylight to Chairman Tadokoro as a set-up.

I saw these when I went into Chicago last week, but they were being packaged into a giant box along with a bunch of other import toys. (I'm guessing someone ordered them and had them shipped to their home.) They weren't bad looking and quite tall- which is what eally surprised me about these, but for the price to get them, I'm much happier to have my Motoko and Batou two figure set from Yamato. Batou is a lot sexier looking in his tank top and I really like the pose they placed Motoko in. ^_^ I'll set up some pictures later after I get all of my other recent action figures.

Seriously? If I were you I'd try to ask the shop for a set :P But that's me... I use to walk into shops and ask for Shirow posters / anything that they have as display/adverts on the walls etc. Nabbed a few nice & exclusive ones too, just by trying my luck ^_~

Ya, these babies are decent in size~ Measuring in at about 17cm in height ^o^ I know the set you're talking about... the one with Motoko crouching with gun right? I don't have that set, but not really going out of my way to find it also. If I happen to come across it on sale at toystores here, I'd get a copy.

Dragon, I'm very interested to see your toy shots! Let me see ya? ^_^ Can email me also, or if you want to have your Shirows displayed on the MSHP, let me know. I'd be more than happy to put 'em up for you :) :)

I ended up getting the two pack Motoko and Batou set discounted because the single set the local comic shop ordered had a small tear on the upper corner. Thankfully, we've got a pretty good rep with the store, so they are willing to make deals occasionally. I was also going to ask the clerks at the import store, but I had a large order in at the Japanese bookstore that I needed to buy first. I'm probably going to ask if they can order the MMI set of two action figures since my Hubby has a membership to the store. That, and I really like that set. I might see if they can get me a Togusa as well.

Some of the stuff I'll have to dig in boxes for them. I still haven't unpacked all of my action figures from when we moved. ^_^;I also just got the orion mini figures in, but I have them on layaway at the comic shop since every other action figure I ordered in the past five months decided to come in last week. If you want, I can take pictures of the Bome Ten Ten figures as well along with the Ballistics statue.

Well, the figures are due next month so get your orders in as fast as you can. From my experience, Sega sets sell FAST (usually pre-orders) and if you're lucky to find another set, its likely to cost an arm and a leg >_<

I have the Dominion set sitting on my PC desk shelf, my beautiful Motoko EX (2 versions) still in box, Ballistics, Galhound etc~~ but problem with my digital camera which got stolen, so maybe have to wait awhile until I can take some pictures >_<

Anyhow, ya, please let me see the pics of your Bome Ten Ten & Ballistics ^o^ Can make a special gallery post for you too. My Ten Ten Pinkies are on the way, hope to receive them soon ^_^=+=^o^ Email me? (don't worry about pic size, Gmail can take 'em)

I got the Aya pinkie figure and Maya is sitting at the store right now until I get into Chicago again (she came in a couple days after the hubby and I went there, so she'll have to wait until July's trip.) They are really great figures and a lot of fun to play with.

You'll most likely get some pictures of the shrine of Guts as well. I've got far too many Berserk figures that I had to cut off my purchasing of those. I'm only going to get larger action figures and reasonably priced statues from now on.^_^

If you have any interest in Transformers, my Hubby has a decent sized collection of those as well. He even has an original G1 Japanese released Wheeljack.
