Rebirth Version of Lucas' MSHP >> A Masamune Shirow Fan Page

About me

User: bis2501
Name: Lucas...
is a hyper-advanced cyborg- his body consists of all of his active drives; his memory of all of his active sources. These are all variable, but on a periodic basis his bio components crave energy and sleep and remind him of his basic identity-layer (yes, I crave sleeping)...

Lucas' SEGA GITS Extra Figure Vol.2 Gallery

I still remember the first time I saw the prototype display for this figure set at SEGA Prize's website. Immediately a sense of desperation set in. Here she is, Aramaki Motoko, 22cm high- Masamune Shirow version! MUST get! ^_^ (I've been using this term too much these days!) And so, the pre-order goes in, waited 3 months, and finally~ in all their glory. Another quality GITS set from SEGA Prize, but this time it was less of a shock because I was expecting it to be good ^_^

I'd like to call them Aramaki Motoko "Decot" & "Cyber" since no official name was provided

Clickable Thumbs! Lots!

Shirow's Motoko Aramaki "Decot" as seen in Manmachine Interface

In Shirow's Manmachine Interface, Motoko Aramaki operates through "decots" or more properly termed, decoy robots. The decot model we see here is our introduction to Motoko A. in Manmachine Interface where she cruises on a boat/yacht on the way to a secret meeting. She also has her "Cyber" appearences, her image in the virtual world which was represented by the other Motoko figure in this set.

SEGA Prize, keep the magic going! ^_^

Man, Lucas, you spend so much money on figures!

I myself just bought Intron Depot 4, so I guess I shouldn't talk ^^;

I like the black-haired figure, but I never liked the hair of the red-haired version of Motoko...I like bangs on anime girls ^^

Hi UK~ ya, my wallet bleeds... :(

Cyber Motoko is OK, besides her hair she's got other ample "assets" :P

Hmm, you know, I like the old action figures more for Man Machine Interface. Makes me a little happier since I wasn't able to find this set on-line.

Oh, and Lucas, I'll be taking pictures of my figures now. I finally got all of them, but the ones of the Orion mini figures and Intron Depot mini figures set three will have to be in box. I adopted a cat back in may and she has a liking for my mini figures. She hasn't eaten any of them yet, but she likes to bat them off the shelf (and chewing is just one more step for her. I swear she's more dog than cat.)

That's cool Dragon! ^_^ Look forward to seeing your images~~ Let me see :D sorry to hear about the cat, but mini figures or not, they are still toys! ^_^ heheh... my ID series 1 & 2 are still in box (no display space at the moment) but Dominion is out on my PC Desk. Cant resist Bonaparte! Hm. Even my Ballistics, Galhounds and Appleseeds are still boxed up. I should get around to releasing them for fresh air some time soon.

Sega figures are quite hard to find, and from personal experience past release date, the prices soar. Unless you find extras in toyshops ordering in bulk, then the price might be OK.
